How many water activities do you have?

We offer 5 (five) water sports activities Jetski rental, Parasailing, Kayak Rental, Standup Paddle and Banana Boat Ride.

Do I need prior experience to participate in water sports?
No prior experience is necessary for most water sports activities. Beginners are welcome, and professional instructors provide safety briefings and instructions to ensure a fun and safe experience.
What should I bring for a day of water sports?
It’s recommended to bring swimwear, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a towel. Some activities may require specific gear, which is usually provided by the water sports company.
Are water sports in Madeira safe for children?

Yes, many water sports in Madeira are suitable for children, with activities like kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and even certain types of parasailing available for younger participants. Safety equipment and life jackets are provided.

When is the best time of year to enjoy water sports in Madeira?
Madeira's mild climate makes it possible to enjoy water sports year-round. However, the best time is typically between April and October, when the weather and sea conditions are most favorable.
Is it necessary to book water sports activities in advance?
It’s recommended to book in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons, to secure your preferred time and activity.
Will the activity begin as scheduled?

Please note that there may be a delay of up to 20 minutes between your booking start time and the actual start of the activity.

What if the weather is bad on the day of my scheduled activity?
Water sports activities are subject to weather conditions. If the weather is unfavorable, the activity may be rescheduled or canceled for safety reasons.
Do I need a license to rent a jet ski in Madeira?
No license is required to rent a jet ski in Madeira. The water sports company provides all necessary instructions and safety guidelines before you hit the water.

- Praia do Gorgulho/Gavinas*

Note: *When choosing Praia do Gorgulho/Gavinas, you must bring your swimsuit because you will need to swim a little to get to the activity area.

Opening hours are from 9am to 6pm. (Varies depending on the season.)
